Mental health professionals spend much of their time helping others face difficult emotions—but what happens when we become afraid to acknowledge our own exhaustion, resentment, limits, or need for care?
Self-SCARE is an experiential Halloween-inspired workshop exploring the parts of professional self-care we often avoid. Through reflection, creative activities, and meaningful conversation, participants will identify what is quietly draining them, examine the fears that keep them overextended, and develop more sustainable ways of caring for themselves within their clinical work.
Offered at Moonstone Counseling and guided by Genevieve Saenz, LMFT, Carly Bassett, LCSW-S and Favi Parrilla
