Hey there, I’m Katie! I believe everyone deserves a safe space to be themselves while navigating the fun times, confusing moments, awkward seasons, and challenges of growing up. My hope is to walk alongside young people as they explore who they are and who they want to become, offering support, affirmation, and a place to feel truly seen.
I see each person as a collection of unique experiences, which means healing looks different for everyone. I enjoy tailoring therapy to each individual by blending creativity, play, movement, and wellness practices with supportive conversation. This allows kids, teens, and young people to connect with every part of themselves and discover their own path forward.
I have experience supporting challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, identity exploration, behavioral concerns, and substance use. I am especially passionate about helping kids and teens who are questioning their gender or sexuality, or who feel unsure about where they fit. I also offer parenting support to strengthen relationships at home and help ensure smooth incorporation of the skills and strategies kids learn in session with me.
Outside of the therapy room, I love spending time with my friends, family, and partner. She and I enjoy exploring new coffee shops and restaurants, paddle boarding, hiking around Austin, and visiting national parks. At home, we love time with our two cats and dogs and cozy days spent binge-watching a good TV series.
At the heart of it all, I strive to create a space where kids, teens, and young adults feel safe, accepted, and empowered to bring every part of themselves to the table so they can move toward healing, wholeness, and meaningful lives.
