Let Them Eat Cake is a festival hosted at Moonstone Counseling and open to all from our community who would like to participate in a creative and social experience centered around cake.

Sunday, January 11 from 1pm to 3pm

This is our way of starting out 2026 with fun and flavor! Because we are helpers by nature, we are of course making this into a benefit for non-profits.

If you ever needed an excuse to make an elegant cake, a weird cake, or your grandma’s classic…now is your chance. We can’t wait to see and taste your cake!

Who doesn’t love a good cake? Inspired by the Cake Picnic, with its tables and tables of creative cakes and happy tasters, we seek to bring a slice of joy to our community through a fun and creative afternoon.

Register with entry fee, select your non-profit and tell us why you love that agency.

On the day of the event you must agree to arrive on time to set up your cake for display, tasting and voting.

You must bring your cake with a card noting what kind of cake it is. Specify if GF, non-dairy, vegan, etc…

Your cake must be homemade. Creativity is encouraged!

2. Where is this event held? Moonstone Counseling Center- Westlake Office

3. What will we do at the event? Eat cake. Be in community together. There will be a professional photographer to take fun pictures.

4. Where do the funds for this event go? Thanks to an anonymous donor, $10,000 will be donated on behalf of the top 3 cakes. The event fee secures your spot and supports the production of this fest!

5. I am not a good baker. Should I still register? YES! This is fun. Be creative. Try something new, or go with an old classic.

6. Can a non-mental health professional register? Although this event is geared toward mental health professionals, we welcome friends of the community.
