Her work has spanned diverse settings, including non-profits, schools, state agencies, and universities. She has helped clients address issues related to life transitions, anxiety, depression, and grief with school-aged children to adults.

As someone with lived experience as a parent, caregiver, and person of color, Dorothy brings a deeply empathetic, culturally informed and practical approach to her practice.  Dorothy utilizes a broad scope of therapeutic modalities and strategies to work in collaboration with individuals to reach their mental health goals.  Foundational to her practice is utilizing a strengths-based, solution focused perspective.

Dorothy is accepting new clients age 12+.  Her preference is that clients 18 and younger are scheduled for in-person sessions.  Adult clients can choose in-person or telehealth sessions.  Dorothy is available for in-person sessions at the Westlake location.
