Creative Maintenance is a playful yet clinically grounded experiential workshop designed to help helping professionals build daily emotional wellness rituals through reflection, nervous system awareness, and creative expression.
Participants will explore the ethical imperatives of self-care outlined by NASW and professional standards, examine the impact of burnout and compassion fatigue on clinical effectiveness, and learn evidence-informed strategies for creating small, consistent practices that support well-being.
Using a whimsical, hands-on creative activity, attendees will design a personalized “daily maintenance” system that represents emotional nourishment, regulation, rest, and restoration. Through guided reflection, discussion, and artistic engagement, participants will translate abstract self-care concepts into practical rituals they can integrate into everyday life.
