Let’s be real—life and relationships can get complicated, and it helps to have a safe space to sort through it all. You may be dealing with anxiety, grief, changes in your life or relationships, or simply wanting to understand yourself better. Parents may seek support for their child or family, while couples may want help feeling more connected or communicating differently.
My approach often draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), focusing on noticing the patterns we get pulled into and exploring what matters most. With families, couples, or other relationships, we can look at patterns that leave us feeling misunderstood or disconnected and explore different ways of communicating and connecting. This may also include concerns around emotional or physical intimacy. The goal isn’t to decide who is right, but to better understand what is happening within the relationship.
Working with kids and teens is another area I genuinely love. Some kids are talkers, while others share much more while we’re doing something together. Sessions may include games, activities, humor, creativity, or a child’s own interests as ways to connect and explore feelings. I also work with parents to help them understand their child’s needs, strengthen their relationship, and find approaches that make sense for their family.
More than 15 years of experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst working with children, teens, adults, and families has also shaped my understanding of behavior, communication, and relationships. That background has given me a strong appreciation for supporting neurodivergent individuals in ways that respect their strengths, needs, experiences, and ways of engaging with the world.
Above all, I want counseling to feel comfortable and genuine. It’s a place to better understand yourself and your relationships and explore what’s important to you.
