I know it’s not always easy to slow down and really look at what you’re carrying. You might be used to pushing through, handling things on your own, or feeling like you “should” be able to figure it out without help—but something still feels heavy, or unsettled underneath it all.
I provide a calm, steady space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without pressure or judgment. My goal is for you to feel safe enough to be honest about what’s really going on, even the parts that are hard to put into words. I’ve had a variety of life experiences that allow me to connect with people from many different backgrounds and walks of life, and I approach each person with genuine curiosity and respect for their story. As a wounded combat veteran, I also have a personal understanding of experiences that many veterans carry, and I’m able to meet them in a way that feels real and grounded.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all or “cookie cutter” approach to therapy. Every person is different, and the work we do together should reflect that. I see therapy as something we shape together based on who you are, what you’ve been through, and what you need moving forward.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and have been practicing since 2021. I hold a BA in Biology and a BS in Public Health from Schreiner University, as well as an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M–San Antonio. Outside of my work, I enjoy cooking, scuba diving, hiking, fishing, music, traveling, spending time with family, and being with my grandchildren.
