Psychiatric Medical Evaluation, Prescribing and On-site Medical Monitoring by Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
What if there was a different way to approach the new academic year?
There is a saying that says, “teaching is a work of heart.”
But teaching also asks so much of the heart.
The beginning of a new school year can bring anticipation, hope, pressure, exhaustion, self-doubt, and the familiar feeling of needing to immediately pour into others again. Many educators enter August already depleted, carrying the emotional residue of the previous year while trying to prepare themselves for the next one.
What does your heart-space feel like as you anticipate a new start in the classroom?
How would you like to prepare your mind, body, and heart for the next chapter… not just professionally, but personally?
What if preparation for the school year included space for your own healing, reflection, nervous system care, and support?
This KAP Group Experiential invites educators into a different kind of back-to-school preparation: one centered on self-compassion, emotional processing, community, and restoration. Rather than focusing solely on productivity or performance, this experience creates room to reconnect with yourself beneath the roles, expectations, and responsibilities you carry every day.
Together, we will explore themes of burnout, resilience, identity, self-acceptance, purpose, and emotional sustainability within the helping professions. Through preparation sessions, supported ketamine-assisted psychotherapy experiences, and integration support, participants are invited to slow down, soften, and enter the school year feeling more grounded, supported, and connected.
You spend so much of your life holding space for others.
The Group KAP Experience
Participating in KAP within a group setting can profoundly deepen your journey. Sharing the process with others creates a sense of belonging, enhances reflection, and opens space for new perspectives. Many participants find that the communal aspect of group work amplifies the healing potential of their own experience.
Additionally, Group KAP offers a more accessible and affordable alternative to individual sessions—without compromising depth, safety, or care.

In a therapeutic and professionally supported setting, ketamine can help create space for reflection, emotional processing, nervous system relief, and new perspectives. Many participants describe feeling temporarily less stuck in patterns of overwhelm, harsh self-criticism, anxiety, or emotional numbness. This can allow for deeper therapeutic insight, increased self-compassion, and a renewed sense of connection to oneself and others.
Within a group setting, educators also have the opportunity to feel less alone in their experiences. Being in community with others who understand the emotional realities of teaching can reduce shame and isolation while fostering validation, support, and shared healing.
Some reasons an educator may be drawn to this experience include:
Feeling emotionally exhausted or burned out
Struggling with anxiety, stress, or compassion fatigue
Wanting support before entering a new school year
Feeling disconnected from purpose, joy, or identity outside of work
Seeking greater self-acceptance and emotional resilience
Wanting a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves
Feeling curious about a therapeutic approach that combines neuroscience, psychotherapy, and intentional integration
