Deepen Your Clinical Practice & Personal Healing Journey Through Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy

Are you a therapist, nurse, medical provider, or social worker curious about the healing potential of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)?

This is an immersive, supportive experiential group designed specifically for care professionals. Beyond exploring KAP for your professional development, this offering is intentionally shaped to provide a safe and courageous space for clinicians to process compassion fatigue, professional burnout, and vicarious trauma. Whether you are seeking personal rejuvenation, eager to explore KAP firsthand, or considering formal clinical training in psychedelic-assisted therapies, this experiential circle offers a secure, professionally guided container to experience the medicine, tend to your own well-being, and connect with peers.

All attendees must complete a medical evaluation and receive clearance from our psychiatric partner before dosing. (Note: Psychiatric evaluation and medicine fees are billed separately).

November: Meeting the Self- Group KAP Experience for LGBTQ+

This intramuscular (IM) ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) dosing group offers members of the LGBTQIA+ community an affirming, supportive space for healing, self-exploration, and connection. Participants will experience ketamine treatment in a small-group setting with therapeutic support provided by Lindsay Schneider, LCSW, and Liam Moriarty, LCSW. Med eval and medicine fee are billed separately by Sol Psychiatry.

November: Respite in the Season of Giving- KAP Group Experience

The season of giving lasts all year for caregivers. This ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) group offers a restorative, supportive refuge for full- and part-time caregivers whose loved ones rely on their care. Facilitated by Lindsay Schneider, LCSW, and Cristina Coupal, LCSW the group creates space to pause, reconnect with yourself, and receive support as your caregiving journey continues.

About KAP Groups

  • KAP Groups take place on dosing day at Moonstone Counseling’s office in Westlake.

    It is important to note that you will not be able to drive yourself home after the dosing, so make arrangements for a ride that day and let the guides know if your vehicle will stay in the lot overnight.

    Group dosing sessions are apx. 3 hours long. The guides will be present with you the entire time and the Psych NP will also be present.

    It is also crucial that you respond to messages after to register because we will need to facilitate scheduling your medical eval. Participants are asked to complete this scheduling within 48 hours of receiving contact from our psychiatric partner.

    Moonstone’s KAP consents are also an important piece for your experience and ensure safety, confidentiality and informed consent. Please complete these within 24 hours of receiving a link to access your portal.

  • There are two separate costs for these groups. Moonstone’s fee for the group, which includes prep, dosing and integration sessions guided by two licensed mental health professionals is $350. The other cost is billed by Sol. This cost includes price of medical evaluation (billable to insurance or $250 cash rate) and the administration of the medicine ($75).

    We purposefully offer groups to make KAP more accessible and more affordable to people. While we recognize it may be a significant cost, the groups are hundreds of dollars less expensive than individual KAP.

    Payment of $350 secures your space in the group. Refunds are available up until one week prior to the group and provided if a client does not receive clearance from the medical evaluation. All other people who withdraw from the group with less than one week notice, will receive a partial refund of $200.

  • All Moonstone KAP Clinicians have gone through extensive training to comes a ketamine assisted psychotherapist. Beyond a 40 hour initial training, our therapists receive 2-4 trainings per year in ketamine assisted therapy as well as experience with the medicine themselves in groups to understand and truly appreciate what this modality offers. All clinicians are licensed mental health providers in the state of Texas.
