I added enough substance to clear 300 words without padding it with mush. This version is about 348 words by a standard word count.

Stephen Platt is a dating and relationship coach at Moonstone Counseling in Austin. He has more than a decade of experience helping people navigate dating, intimacy, and connection. His work draws on professional training and years of supporting clients through the self-doubt, uncertainty, and vulnerability that often come with wanting meaningful connection.

Stephen works with people who feel anxious on dates, are returning to dating after a long-term relationship or divorce, or keep finding themselves in the same patterns around attraction, communication, or partner choice. His coaching explores the places where people overthink, withdraw, pursue unavailable partners, avoid difficult conversations, or lose track of what they actually want. The work gives clients a structured space to practice clearer communication, steadier self-trust, and more honest connection.

Stephen is a coach, not a licensed therapist. His work is structured, goal-focused, and not meant to replace therapy or serve as a substitute for mental health treatment. He often works best with clients who have worked with a therapist or done some self-reflection and are ready to apply that self-awareness to dating and relationships. Clients who are already established with a clinician may also benefit from working with Stephen alongside their ongoing therapy, especially when they want focused support around dating patterns, relationship skills, and confidence.

For clients who are exploring deeper integration work, Stephen can also incorporate ketamine-facilitated coaching when appropriate. He completed Moonstone’s original KAP training cohort and continues to pursue training in psychedelic-assisted work, integration, and ethical facilitation. He facilitates this coaching within Moonstone’s established KAP program structure and in collaboration with licensed medical providers. Stephen does not evaluate whether ketamine is medically appropriate, prescribe medication, or make medical treatment decisions. Ketamine-facilitated coaching is only offered after a medical evaluation and clearance from a licensed prescriber. Because Stephen is a coach rather than a clinician, this work is not psychotherapy and is not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment.

Across both coaching and ketamine-facilitated coaching, Stephen’s style is compassionate, direct, and intuitive. Clients often appreciate his ability to translate complex relational dynamics into clear, usable insight. Stephen’s goal is to help clients become more confident, connected, and honest with themselves, so they can move toward relationships that feel healthier, more intentional, and more aligned with who they truly are.
